Briony Hemmings is a nature and travel writer. She often stumbles upon unexpected travel experiences when her Dyspraxic mental sat nav malfunctions.

Briony grew up in Wales, Cornwall and Ireland camping on moorland plains, hiking up sheep-covered mountains and swimming in cruel-looking rivers. She has a particular love of parrots which comes from her childhood Blue and Gold Macaw, Jemima, who lives with her Mother in Ireland and is still an inspiration today.

Briony lives with her two Budgies in Windsor and writes about the wildlife and landscapes she experiences during her explorations of the world.
